Baccarat at Roll99 — The Complete Guide for Malaysian Players
Everything you need to know before you start playing
Baccarat has long been the card game of choice among Malaysian players. From the physical casino floors of Genting Highlands to online platforms, its popularity has never faded. Now with Roll99, you can enjoy the full baccarat table experience right from home, a café, or anywhere at all — straight from your phone.
Many may wonder what sets baccarat at Roll99 apart from other platforms on the market. The answer lies in a few things we genuinely prioritise — an authentic experience, solid security, and convenience that truly meets the needs of local players.
How to Play Baccarat — The Basics You Need to Know
Baccarat is far simpler than its glamorous reputation suggests. The goal is to predict which side will land closest to a value of 9 — the Banker or the Player. You can also bet on a Tie, though this option is less favourable mathematically.
Card values in baccarat are unique compared to other card games. Numbered cards 2 through 9 carry their face value. Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) and 10s are worth zero, while Aces count as 1. If the total value of the cards exceeds 9, only the last digit counts — for example, 7 + 8 = 15, so the value is 5.
At the start of each round, both the Banker and Player are dealt two cards each. Depending on the initial total, a third card may be drawn automatically according to fixed rules. As a player, you don't need to make any decisions about the third card — everything follows standard baccarat rules. This is what makes baccarat so easy to enjoy without needing to overthink any additional strategy.
Why Is Roll99 the First Choice for Malaysian Baccarat Players?
At Roll99, we understand that Malaysian players have their own preferences and expectations. That's why we invest in dealers who are not only professional, but also fluent in Malay. When you sit down at a Roll99 baccarat table, you'll be welcomed in your own language — something rarely offered by other international platforms.
We also support all major Malaysian payment methods. You can deposit using Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, DuitNow Transfer, or via FPX with your preferred bank such as Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, or RHB Now. Deposits are typically completed in under 60 seconds, and winnings are withdrawn within just 3 to 10 minutes.
Betting limits at Roll99 tables are designed to suit every type of player — from beginners who want a casual game at RM10 per hand, all the way to VIP players comfortable with RM50,000 per round. Roll99 has a table for everyone.
Stream Quality & Live Table Technology
One of the things Roll99 players consistently praise is the video quality of our live tables. We use 1080p HD streaming technology with ultra-low latency, so you can see every dealer movement and every card placed on the table with crystal-clear clarity — no interruptions, no annoying delays.
This is especially important in live baccarat, as players need a clear view of the "squeeze" — the moment the dealer slowly reveals the cards — to truly feel the excitement of the game. At Roll99, multiple camera angles ensure you never miss a single thrilling moment.
Dedicated Account & Game History
Every Roll99 member has access to a personal dashboard that records every baccarat session they play. You can review your betting history, win/loss statistics, and road map records for all the tables you've joined. This information helps you make smarter decisions and track your playing patterns over time.
The Roll99 VIP Programme also offers additional perks for loyal baccarat players. The more you play, the higher your VIP tier — and the greater the rebates, withdrawal limits, and exclusive privileges you unlock. Diamond VIP members, for instance, enjoy 2% unlimited daily rebates and access to exclusive baccarat tables unavailable to regular members.
Responsible Gambling in Baccarat
Roll99 takes responsible gaming seriously. Baccarat is an exciting and entertaining game, but like all forms of gambling, it should be played with discipline. We provide account management tools that let you set daily or weekly deposit limits, session loss limits, and a self-exclusion option whenever you feel you need a break.
Remember — baccarat at Roll99 is meant to be entertainment. Always play with money you can afford to lose, and never chase your losses by betting bigger.
